Sam Kolodezh has been helping students of all ages achieve their dreams and craft their narratives for almost a decade. Above all else, Sam is a dedicated teacher who is invested in helping students and professionals learn transferable skills on the way to their goals. He has spent a decade working as a writing coach, executive functioning coach, and tutor.
He holds a PhD from the University of California, Irvine and a BA from the University of Washington. He currently teaches writing at the University of California, San Diego and has taught at several other universities including New York University, University of California, Irvine and California State University, Northridge.
Sam is a published scholar and poet and has worked as a dancer, performer, and producer in the US and abroad. He loves all things food and pop culture and has an insatiable appetite for stories. He has lived in the Netherlands and on both coasts of the United States. He currently resides in San Diego.
